Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Essential Skills Conference
March 5-6, 2021
Dialectical Behavior Therapy certified trainer Leslie Karwoski Anderson, Ph.D., will provide two days of practical DBT skills training for Alaska mental health providers. Attendees will learn how to conduct skills groups and help individual clients apply DBT skills to address suicide ideation, self harm behaviors, emotion dysregulation and eating disorders.
$235 registration fee includes the conference and access to four monthly one-hour sessions for consultative follow up. No additional fee needed to apply for CEUs.

Care Philosophy Training Program
The Care Philosophy program offers a foundation for establishing a trauma-informed environment, rooted in evidence-based best practices and integrates the medical, behavioral, and social components of care for individuals with the most complex needs. Designed with the inter-professional healthcare team in mind, this series was developed to promote collaborative practice in health care delivery by providing a broad range of topics for a variety of learners.
This no-cost program is made available through a partnership with OptumHealth Education and provides for up to 6 CEUs/CMEs to those interested in earning credit.

Topic: Co-Occurring Behavioral Health, Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorder ECHO
The Co-Occurring Behavioral Health, Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorders ECHO offers a virtual network for behavioral health providers to learn best practice care through real-time access to experienced specialists including addiction medicine physicians, a licensed marriage and family therapist/clinical addictions specialist, a psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner, and behavioral health aide. A total of 12 sessions will cover topics related to integration, opioid treatment, stimulant use, and challenges in treatment.
