Case Management Services for Behavioral Health
Alaska Medicaid Behavioral Health Services
Behavioral Health Services covered by Alaska Medicaid are highlighted below. Behavioral health care can improve the quality of life for people with behavioral health and addiction through a broad range of services. No one needs to suffer alone or go without help. While getting care for behavioral health needs, it is important to share this information with your doctor. This will help you get well rounded care.
Behavioral health services may include:
- Counseling/Therapy (Individual, Family or Group)
- Case Management
- Residential Treatment (Psychiatric or Substance Use)
- Outpatient Services
Who is Optum Alaska?
Optum Alaska provides Case Management services to help connect Alaska Medicaid Participants with behavioral health services. Behavioral health includes everything from depression to substance use disorders. Our Case Management team includes licensed Care Navigators, a certified Peer Support Specialist, and a Senior Wellness Coordinator.
What Does This Mean for You?
Optum Case Management can connect you with enrolled Alaska Medicaid behavioral health providers so you can get the services you need. Our Case Management team can help even if you are already enrolled with a provider.
